How to keep your mind calm – We all know that the whole world is suffering from Covid-19 virus at this time. The whole world is troubled by this virus originated from China. Even big powers like America could not save themselves from its clutches. Scientists from all over the world are engaged in finding vaccines for this virus, but it will take time. Therefore, to protect yourself and your family from this virus, the government has directed to follow social distances.

All necessary steps are also being taken by the government and in this; our government has been successful to some extent, as the situation in our country still better as compared to other countries. In the first phase, a 21-day lock-down was carried out and it was carried forward as there are still some people who are not strictly following this rule and the situation seems to be deteriorating continuously.

Hardly any of us have a habit of staying locked in the house, but in this battle of Covid-19, this is the only solution that will help us. Seeing this state of the world, people are worried, going into depression and it is also natural but this is not the time to go into anxiety or depression. There are some ways and tips by which you can get yourself out of this situation.

How to keep your mind calm during this lock down?

Set the routine:-

Whether male or female, first set your routine. Routine means that the time for getting up in the morning, breakfast, lunch and dinner should be fixed. If the time of all these will be fixed, then only time will be available for the rest of the work. So wake up on time and sleep on time because it is very important to complete sleep in this stressful environment only then your mind will remain calm.

Make a to-do list:-                

Make a list of all your day’s work. There are many people who are currently doing their office work from home. At this time there is more work in the homes as well, so help each other in domestic work and also prioritize your professional work. Doing this will not distract the mind here and there and the work will also be finished on time, so that there will be no unnecessary tension in the mind. Doing so will not waste time thinking about which work to do first and which later.

Find your hobby:-

This is a great time when you can pursue your hobby. Everyone’s hobby is different, it is believed that when we do our favorite work, we are happy and where there is happiness, stress and tension are automatically reduced. Therefore, find some time for yourself throughout the day.

Spend time with family:-

Family is very important in everyone’s life. Spending time with your people brings happiness to the mind and if the person is unhappy then starts to get away from them, so spend more and more time with your family. Talking with family members also removes many negative thoughts and gives the right path to move forward in life.

Watch motivational videos or movies:-

If you are fond of watching movies, then you can watch motivational movies or videos. This is a great way to keep yourself motivated and keep your mind calm if you are in self-isolation.

Eat nutritious food:-

As we all know that there is no corona virus vaccine available yet. In such a situation, we all need to increase the immunity of our body so that the virus does not attack us easily. Eat a healthy diet rich in vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc. Everyone knows that green vegetables and fruits are very important for health, but at the same time, there are some spices and ingredients that work to increase physical immunity such as garlic, turmeric, cinnamon, Liquorice root(mulethi), giloy, Mushroom and yogurt.

Do regular exercise, yoga or meditation:-

Make exercise a part of your routine. Exercise increases blood circulation in your body and meditation calms your mind. Meditation is very beneficial for your mental health. If the mind is healthy then the body will stay away from depression and stress.

Daily practice of Yogasana, Pranayama and meditation for 30 minutes will be very beneficial for peace of mind. Due to these circumstances, you cannot get out so you can do so in the balcony, terrace or room.

Help others:-

If there is a poor or needy person around you, do help him. Helping makes you feel complacent and keep the mind happy. This is a difficult time in which we will be able to fight this virus only by helping each other, but do not forget to follow the rule of social distancing.

Stay away from negative elements:-

Avoid negative elements. At this time, a lot of false and negative rumors are circulating on social media, avoid them all. Stay away from people with negative thoughts and focus on your work or family. On TV, a lot of news arrives throughout the day; too much news distracts the mind, so it is enough to get a little update in the morning and evening.

Keep your trust in god:-

Trust God. You are empowered by faith; nothing will change by feeling sad or sorry. Do Puja/ Prayer in the morning, it will spread positive vibe in your mind and it is very important to remain stress free. Just as dawn comes after every night, similarly a good time will come after this unfortunate time.

Apart from this, you should follow some other instructions which have recently been issued by the government.

  • Follow social distancing
  • Wash your hands several times a day with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap.
  • Drink hot water all day
  • Do yoga or meditation for 30 minutes daily

Being happy is very important to keep the mind under control, so spend more and more time with your family and take advantage of this lock down.
